Michael Gravgaard

Message par HSV-Fan le Dim 12 Avr 2009, 10:46

Hello,

i am a fan of the HSV, the Bundesliga team who loaned Michael Gravgaard until end of this season.

Many fans of us like the charismatic dutchmen. It seems that the management would use the purchase option.

We have no detailed information about any payment arrangements. Do you know anything about the purchase option or possible transfer fees?

Thanking you in anticipation.

Best regards

I must adjust: Dane, not Dutchman... ;)

I've heard about the bad benefits in Nantes. In the first match against Karlsruhe in the Bundesliga he caused a 1:3 defeat. But then he got a second chance and got better. Now he is an important part of the team and played a good match against Manchester City in the UEFA-Cup quarter-finals.

For free? Nice offer! It's rumored that Nantes arranged a 4 million Euro purchase option with the HSV, but we have no idea. I think it's too much.

We payed him 3 millions last summer. He was ridiculous with us, too slow to play in France.

That's true, he is slow, but he has other qualities. He is maybe a great header.

I don't know why it works in Hamburg, and not in Nantes, but his defense partner is the "famous" Joris Mathijsen... ;) Gravgaard said in the German press that he felt sick and not as part of the team, the language was also a barrier. Now he feels very good in Hamburg and he really wants to stay here. You too, right?

In my opinion Michael Gravgaard is a professional and sympathetic player. I think that we also search a better centre-back next season because we have good chances for a Champions-League partipation and he is not good enough. But he is good as an reserve centre-back.

I look forward to see him next season in Hamburg.

he is sympathetic indeed, he's articulate which is a scarce quality among soccer players... yet I am afraid it's not enough, not that we have better options though
he is much better off at HSV and so are we 'cause soon enough we won't be able to afford his wage any longer

Hi, you have to know that a few players have succeeded with Nantes , so it's not so surprising to see him succeed with Hamburg.
I think it's wasn't easy for him to adapt himself to the French championship, especially with Nantes.
Otherwise he needed time to adapt himself to an other championship than the Danish one.

We knew he had qualities. That’s why he plays for the national team, so I believe one year at least was necessary for him to change and adapt himself to different championships which need others kind of quality. That's not easy to do with Nantes, because we are not good, and he don't have time to wait for any player to adapt himself to the club.
